Four checks before freezing the structure
Material specification
Name the grade, composition, colour, surface and approved equivalent; a generic material name is rarely enough for repeat production.
Ink and substrate interaction
Check absorption, opacity, drying, odour and rub performance on the actual substrate, not only on a screen proof.
Rub and abrasion
Set dry or wet rub method, load, cycles and acceptance appearance for the actual ink, coating and delivery environment.
Required markings
List mandatory text, symbols, languages, minimum size, placement and approval owner for each destination and channel.

Use production-representative product dimensions, weight and fragile areas.

Test fit, opening, closing, assembly and packing before visual artwork is final.

Reuse a controlled standard only when files, material, structure, supply chain and use conditions remain unchanged. Record every change and decide whether resampling or reapproval is required.
